My partner Phil and I have spent the past 10 years or more thinking about a life abroad that is both simpler and closer to the earth, this site is designed to over time provide a, hopefully, useful resource for others who are also thinking of changing their lives.
Living with the Seasons

We made the permanent move to France in 2018 having now spent the previous 3 years renovating a dilapidated farmhouse in the Haute Vienne.
​
A lot has changed in that time both at the property and our plans and outlook on what we want from our new life.
